Information and measures associated with the novel COVID-19 coronavirus

5 June 2020: resumption of medical procedures

Since 27 April 2020, operations, examinations and therapies (including non-urgent procedures) may once again be carried out at the hospital. Measures are in place to ensure the safety of patients and employees.

For visitors

In light of the declining rate of new infections, hospital visitor rules will be relaxed in accordance with the canton of Grisons’ official decree of 2 June 2020. The decree can be amended at any time, depending on how the situation develops.

From 6 June 2020, visits to all areas of the hospital – including the ICU – are now permitted again, taking into account the following conditions:

  • Only healthy visitors may be admitted; a check is carried out at the entrance
  • Every visitor is required to fill out the "self-declaration for visitors" form and hand it in at the reception
  • One visitor per patient is permitted in the room for a maximum of 60 minutes
  • In rooms with multiple beds, no more than two visitors are permitted at any given time
  • Visitors may only visit one patient per day
  • Visitors and patients must strictly adhere to the safety measures in place (face masks and hand hygiene)
  • One person may escort the patient to the emergency or the outpatient area

In consultation with our staff, exceptions may be made for the parents of children, partners of those who have given birth and close relatives of terminally ill people. Thank you for your understanding.
